My name is Ellie and I'm a 26 year old self taught photographer. I started this gig as something I loved to do, and it ended up becoming my full time career. I fell in love with the people I got to meet all while getting to know their stories and creating golden magic with them.
Aside from photography, my heart lies with horses. When I'm not spending time taking photos or editing, I'm usually riding my horse, Whiskey, or running at a local barrel race.

WHY THIS ISN'T JUST A JOB
People ask me constantly how I got into photography. And honestly, I feel like I always have. If you want to be really creepy, stalk my facebook back a few years. I have this old photo album that I refuse to delete of when I thought I was a photographer. I have always been that friend who takes too many pictures, and my friends hate me for it. But I love it! Moments mean so much to me. I started to learn and get more in depth with a camera in high school when I was on newspaper and yearbook.
When I graduated, I started to play with taking photos of my friends. I instantly fell in love. With the help of others and self teaching, I learned how to create stories through photos. I am completely self taught and love to look back at that old Facebook gallery and see how this hobby blossomed into something I will do forever.
I have an itch to create. I want to do it everyday. I love experimenting, doing fun shoots, and just LIVING!
